I'm interested, and I care. I truly do.

I hate reading all these discouraging, frustrated messages about theft, fakes, etc. It will get better. Just win the Powerball, then fly to Vegas and shop a retail designer boutique for thousands!

hahaha kidding, but maybe not what you're trying to hear. Take care.

I want to make this short as possible.... I purchased several bags from saks that are on sale Mario Valentino gorgeous bags all Italian leather I looked on there site and found several Mario Valentino bags some just like the ones I purchased.

So I placed my bags on the site. I sold one and the girl freaked out she said it was fake, I was not concerned and told her to send it back to tradesey and they would verify that my bag was authentic I had no worries well I checked to see if my monies had been released and they had refunded her money and basically say my bag was a fake!!! of course I freaked out...... I called and was told they did not sell that brand on there site even though I found a bag just like this one and hit the button sell yours....

It said Valentino Mario Valentino bag..... So I called and they told me they were sending my bag back to me b/c they did not sell that brand even though there are over 100 on the site and several that had sold. Now they tell me there pulling all those bags off the site not because there fake but because they look to close to higher end bags such as Celine, Valentino, etc......These M. Valentino bags cost over $1000.00 Regular priced.

anyway all I want is my money I don't want the bag I want my money and yet I'm told Meghan (the boss) or Kathy (the lead authenticator) does not talk to people they only email... I guess she thinks the the great and powerful oz.... I say we spread the word..... to make sure no one else gets scammed!!!

oh and they have their own closets also pennylane and strawberry fields oh and abby road or something like that so not only do they not make their rules clear they get first dibs on all the good stuff.. I hope soon there is a class action law suite!!

You do understand me expressing my opinion is to prevent this from happening to other people. If other people agree with me then they need to fix something.

If a company known for high quality purses opinion differs from a company that makes money from people selling there purses of all qualities I'm going to choose the one known for the higher quality.

Thanks

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

If you are looking for designer knock offs, this is the site for you. We purchased from TWOPUGSNME and Louis Vuitton verified it was a FAKE.

Tradesy won't credit my husbands credit card because "their team" stated its authentic.

Louis Vuitton will not put in writing that the Treasure Box is fake because of company policy. BUYER BEWARE!!!

She even copied the messages on Tradesy and sent them to me when I told her I found this post. I thought it would be great to show everyone that this person Matt is a liar.

If you read the comments below Twopugsnme asked Matt what LV store did you take it too? "I don't know". So not I've posted the comments and the email authenticating the piece! Matt M.

is the scammer! Don't sell or buy anything to/from this person.

Twopugsnme

Did you get my messages?

May 10, 2016

Twopugsnme

I had it authenicated by Carol Diva. It is authentic.

But I'll be glad to take it back! May 10, 2016 MM Matt M. Could we send it to Carol Diva to confirm that? My wife would like a copy of the certificate you recievd from Carol Diva with the serial number.

May 10, 2016 Twopugsnme The date code is inside it. Try the sides of the lid, inside close to the seam. I'm sending the email to tradesy. She was able to authenticate it using the photos I had in my listing.

You can tell by the font, the stitching a lot of things. Ebay uses her for authentication. What Louis Vuitton store did your wife take it too?

May 10, 2016 MM Matt M. Not sure which one she took it to, can you email me the return shipping label?

Guest

I actually told Twopugsnme about this comment. She told me she had the LV azure box authenticated by Carol Diva and it was 100% authentic.

She also told Tradesy when she asked what LV store you took it to you messaged her back you don't remember. You were trying to pull a scam and got caught. She even sent me the email from Carol authenticating it:Hi Kim,

This is sooooooooooooooooooo pretty!!

Hope you don't sell it and keep it for yourself. I would consider it an authentic LV Damier Azur Coffret Merveilles GM.

Best regards,

Carol Ives

I've had my own ups and downs with Tradesy but Twopugsnme has never sold a fake! Actually that seller is the only one I'll buy from.

Second LV will not authenticate anything. They are not allowed to do so. I gaurentee this person bought something they didn't have the money to spend or tried to pull their own scam and got caught doing so. Sellers are getting ripped off everyday on there by buyers getting an authentic piece and trying to return a fake.

Getting their money back and keeping the authentic item. Then the seller gets screwed!

Do not purchase anything from this site! It's all a scam and they rip you off. If an item is misrepresented, you send it back, they will try to keep your money no matter what as well as the item! I would guess they won't be in business much longer so that's a further risk. Also, be aware they have social media savvy folks post positive reviews and pretend they are customers that had nothing but wonderful experiences. Stay away from tradsey.com! #ripoffartists #scam

Totally agree , my experience too. Who regulates this kind of business?

Dimitrius Uvh

Totally agree! I have over 3K positive feedbacks on Ebay and yet Tradesy doesn't even have a feedback program in place.

Makes you wonder why they don't. Oh wait, its because they are scammers!

Guest

Tradesy has REAL issues with returned merchandise especially high end designer items because like you said they don't want to lose money. Also with any return they keep they have to sell it themselves under Penny Lane, Strawberry Field etc.

to get their money back. My advice DON'T buy high end items on Tradesy and DON'T buy anything designer from Penny Lane etc because those items are returns and you will NEVER get Tradesy to agree with you for any reason if you want to return it except maybe for fit.

Three years ago when I started selling it was great but now they only care about their bottom line, many sellers have found this site and are selling fakes not to mention all the COMPANIES that now sell here. Yes I am unhappy but every other site like this,eBay,PoshMark,ThreadFlip etc have many of the same problems it just that Tradesy blatantly doesn't care about anyone but themselves.

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I purchased a Rolex watch which came to me with the most grotesque face (extremely thick glass). It was neither displayed in pictures or description. I've emailed Tradesy over 15 times and have called them a dozen. All they offered was a credit even though their policy allows for refund. I would never take a credit from them as I have zero faith in their products. I'm still dealing with them, a month later. I will be reporting them to BBB and telling everyone not to buy from them. They're dishonest and do not stand by their policy. Their customer service is only email based which they ignore you. I pray to God they go out of business and stop taking advantage of people. What they're doing is a crime.

I purchased an item on Tradesy for $2500. They have a return policy that says you can return an item for any reason, within 4 days. The small print says you get a site credit. I returned the item the same day I received it, and now Tradedy has my $2500. This is ROBBERY!

No other business offers site credits only.

BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM TRADESY! BOYCOTT THIS SCAM.

How they can get away with this I don't know. i'm going to go to the Better Business Bureau.

No disrespect but its not fine print its clearly stated over and over on there site about refunds and site credits on returns you may not like it but you agreed to it when you signed up and made a purchase there , sometimes the truth hurts and no I don't work there but I do sell there

Guest

It isnt Tradesys fault that you failed to read their return policy! To claim they committed some type of "fraud" or "scam" against you is flat out slander!

You are the one who made a pricey purchase without reading their return policy first, they are very up front about how returns work; if a seller misrepresents an item you get a full refund, however if you just change your mind, have buyers remorse (which is what it sounds like), item doesnt fit, etc. They issue a site credit. Tradesys return policy is the best one out there! How can they penalize a seller every time a buyer changes their mind?

This is why they offer store credit, most of these resale sites dont accept returns at all! Perhaps next time you buy something online, it might be a good idea to understand the sites policies first instead of blaming them for your mistake.

Credit not given

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I made a return due to a problem with a previous order not being authentic. They gave me a store credit which I tried to use and realized on my credit card statement, it was never applied.

I called and talked to costumer service and the supervisor and both said they couldn't do anything about it since the transaction had already been placed. I just asked for them to credit my credit card the money that should have been used in the first place but they said I had to make another transaction to try and use the credit again. This seems like a scam to get you to buy more things. I told them I would be writing reviews and telling my friends of what happened.

They didn't seem to care and had no answers to resolve my case. Buyer Beware!!

If Tradesy agreed it was a fake you get your money back via your form of payment. If they don't you get a site credit. did you try to use it again as they asked?

Sahil Npc

I just want to say if the bag is fake it is NOT Tradesy fault as they never see the bag BEFORE it sells just like eBay, an Amazon individual seller, Poshmark, Threadflip etc. Tradesy is not a consignment site like RealReal.

I am saying this because I am a seller on Tradesy and these fraudulent sellers are ruining business for legitimate sellers. If the seller sells on eBay don't buy from them & I wouldn't buy from PennyLane, Strawberry Fields and a few others as they are ACTUALLY Tradesy selling the returns.

If you told them within in 4 days from receiving it claiming it is fake and they disagree that is a different problem. I returned a bag and gave them a list of 8 items that were wrong in construction and they could not argue it was a piece of junk I then checked to see if the seller was on eBay and she was lesson learned.

Good point; point out OBVIOUS tell-tale signs to let them know you are no dummy! Underneath the zipper, for example, you know, the zipping mechanism, not the pull.

Or peeling "leather" on a Chanel bag!

*FYI EVERYBODY* - Tradesy just started Not Accepting Returns on the things they are reselling? Customer returns getting resold by Abbey Road, Abbey Lane or whatever dumb Beatles site reference name they're using; I saw on the corner of SOME listings, "Final Sale". Some, not all so check closely.

Be warned, ask for measurements!

Be certain you are ready to buy for keeps. No Tradesies-Backsies, lol ;)

Guest

They screwed me over on a fake Coach bag and I'm going to call my bank and tell them the charge was fraudulent. They'll refund my money. You should do the same.

Guest

Thanks for the heads up.

If it's a resent purchase, within the last 90 days or so, you should dispute the transaction.

If you were unaware your card was being charged, or your card was charged more than you thought you were agreeing too, it's likely they will reverse the charge.

I have experienced something similar with another online vender.

I ordered a wedding dress from Jennifer M. through Tradesy. Do not buy from her. https://www.tradesy.com/closet/178****/ The dress was nothing like the photos that were posted. The dress was listed as Summer 1019 Wedding dress. I attached three pictures from the listing. The last photo is my daughter in the dress. The top is dark ivory. The skirt is white with a pink hue. I was most upset by the skirt. I had no indication that the underskirt was short and the whole thing is see-through. I hoped my seamstress could use at least part of this dress, but it is a total lost cause. I will never use Tradesy again. Although I contacted Tradesy immediately and explained that I wanted my seamstress to see the dress, the company will not allow a return after the four days. I believe this is an exception since it was so woefully misrepresented.

Omg that's awful! The dress us nothing alike the pictures in the ad.

Tradesy should returned your money no matter how many days it's been. Sometimes you don't even have time to go to post office.

Beside its not your fault that the seller is a scammer to trick people in buying a bad product. Tradesy should protect a buyer in anyway they can.

I Totally agree, the buyer Should be protected at all costs. Read ebays policy I am not saying that ebay is Perfect just that as long as I've been dealing with and through them all of my purchases have been BACKED 100% by Ebay. Why not give them a try?

Guest

That seller should be ashamed of herself, thanks for the warning.....sorry this happened to you.

Guest

I would complain, too. The bride looks nothing like the one in the ad.

Guest

Wow. What a dishonest seller.

She posted 4 beautiful pictures of a dress that looks nothing like the last picture and the one she sent you. I feel really bad for you and I agree that the skirt was EXTREMELY misrepresented. Did you send your pictures to Tradesy? After seeing them they should automatically refund you.

If you put it on a credit card I would stop payment. Email Tradesy and tell them you are reporting them to the BBB and the state of California Consumer Protection Agency, maybe when they hear that they will refund you.

If the buyer would have sent the dress back stating it was misrepresented as soon as she open the box she would have gotten a full refund. This is not Tradesys fault but more of the buyers fault.

I have bought and received items that were misrepresented and trust me I requested a free return request within minutes and ship the very next day. Tradesy review and refunded my money back quickly. It was wrong that the seller lied but the buyer also needs to own up to her mistake. Oh I'm a customer.

I do not work for Tradesy. I'm just sharing my experience and I believe this buyer is blaming Tradesy for her mistake.

It's not enough to "notify"... You need to take ACTION within the timeframe outlined in the terms and conditions of the sale.

You can't keep merchandise, parade it around town for days, then miss the send-back deadline and expect the company make an exception for YOUR error. That's just not how it works.

WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
There's so many negative comments and experiences posted on this site, but a wonderful thing happened to me today. On Monday, I just so happened to come across an authentic PRADA tote in really nice condition, with original dust bag. I wasn't even looking for it. The price? $30, plus $8.50 for shipping. It couldn't have been there long; the pic wasn't cleaned yet. I bought it, and that same evening, the seller confirmed. She messaged me, was personable and friendly. Today I got it, with Priority 2-day shipping. It was nicely packaged(in a BOX, not a Tradesy shipping bag) and a sweet note was in there. This really makes up for the purse I had to cancel after waiting almost a month. For everyone who thinks you can't get a REAL Prada for that price, it's definitely authentic. I know what to look for. Underneath the zipper, the white silk number in the corner, the shape of the "R" in PRADA, and the general feel and stitching of the entire purse. It's not a perfume freebie, but a cute little velvet shoulder tote, with no stains, rips, or odors. I'm trying to upload a pic but the site is down. Anyhow, magic DOES happen on Tradesy. I've had *** things happen. It always had to deal with, Where's My Money? A customer made a return, and it took Tradesy 2 weeks to measure the purse to make sure I passed the third grade and know how to count inches. Or waiting on a customer to actually SHIP their shoes back. The customer has 10 days from the end of the 4th day, so that was frustrating. However, these things are not the norm, but the anomaly. There are flaws in any system, because it's managed by humans, and we as humans are flawed. I've mostly bought small stuff like dust bags on Tradesy, and OOOHHHH I was steamin' over never receiving the other purse. But today makes up for it. Not EVERYBODY on Tradesy is a scammer or a *** artist. And you know, even with all the bull-mess about waiting to BLAH BLAH BLAH.... ...I ALWAYS got paid...eventually. I had to wait and was out my shipping cost until I got reimbursed, but I got paid. I know it's different than eBay, here you don't get your $ up front, but I'm grown! I knew what the rules were when I started listed on Tradesy. And I always get through on the phone as well. I keep reading that, nobody can get a live person on the phone. ? I've only not been able to get through one time. You gotta call in the morning! Like 10 Central, no later than 11, or the lines get jammed and you can't get through. Anyway, I thought I'd share some positivity. Have a lovely weekend! ;)

Customer service questionable

Purchased what was described as black and purple yoga pants. Picture showed black pants with a purple waist. I was instead sent grey pants with a purple waist. The seller admitted after the purchase she was mistaken with the description but hoped that I would like them. I returned them only to be given a credit. I sent them emails stating my case and that I wanted a refund and received back a cryptic email saying "moving forward" you check a different box for the reason of return. I then called and was hung up on after waiting by the automated machine. I called again, this time, the call was taken and told I had to file an appeal. So, summarizing, the product was not correctly confirmed by Tradesy. Then, after being sent something incorrectly described, I am still jumping through hoops to get a refund. I am not used to this type of service. When a company makes a mistake, please make it right versus having your customer deal with additional issues. Makes us whole again the easiest way possible. That is what customer service is about.

I see, because you think the computer screen should match reality in every instance you are not willing to compromise or be grateful for the low price you were able to get due to someone else's grace of selling it for less than they paid for it, you are entitled to pitch a fit and get all of your money back. Ever been to a real auction? You buy things at great prices for an as is item. Same with online discounters. If you want perfection, pony up the full price and buy full retail in person. Problem solved. Some people wouldn't be happy if you hung them with a new rope. Have a nice day. Tradesy buyer, customer that has had no complaints.

Good point, although a little harsh. People are petty.

I've seen negative feedback for some 99 cent shower hooks with free shipping(eBay, not Tradesy). I've personally had customers return bags, saying I can't measure and the purse is way smaller than I listed. But yes, a female will buy a $3k bag for $400, and squawk over some rubbing on a corner or a pen mark on the lining. So yes, if you have 4k to spend on a retail Chanel...Ladies who have that kind of dough for a purse don't shop on eBay and Tradesy.

They sell, maybe. That's it.

Age-old philosophy..."I want champagne and caviar for the beer and hot-dog price....AND I WANT IT DELIVERED FOR FREE! YESTERDAY!" lol

Guest

But what about when a seller flat out tells you the item is in perfect condition and it's not? I've used Tradesy multiple times and unfortunately more than half the time the item isn't what it looks like -the seller tells you they have all the pieces or there are no Knicks or scratches and that's not the way it arrives.

If someone is selling something that isn't in great condition, they should at least be honest about that ...and that's where Tradesy falls short.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1134632

Tradesy can't know if a seller is honest as they don't see the item before it is sold. Did you request a return on-line in 4 days as their policy clearly states?

If so Tradesy will look at the item and determine whether it was misrepresented and if so return you payment in the method you paid for it you could also return it for any reason and get a site credit but if you paid a lot of money then you should return it claiming it was a fake.

I did this with no problems whatsoever.

Tradesy in violation of several federal, state, and local laws

Notice of Tradesy being in investigated for violation of Federal law

Dear Penny,

Its me again; Andre Setyon. For the record you are still holding thousands of dollars that I earned through sales on Tradesy. Secondly, you are still holding my intellectual property as well as personal property. The items you said were returned because they were alleged fakes. I can with certainty tell you that I can prove that at least one of the items that you purchased was not. "I have an invoice from tiffany's with it listed. It's the 3rd one down and references the original invoice #. It was purchased through tiffany.com."

There's more. We have proof that you Penny have some sold counterfeit products. YOU are in serious violation of the law. Many laws in fact. See the agency. below that our legal representation will file with. I say our because we will be opening a class action lawsuit shortly.

Lastly, under my First Amendment rights, we will be spending thousands of dollars on ads exposing you and directing people to ethical sites. There are many.

If you'd like to discuss as fair and reasonable settlement that would avoid costly litigation, kindly let me know. Otherwise, we have no other recourse.

Cordially,

Andre Setyon

Here's just a small sampling of some complaints against you:

"I am sorry I did not check reviews before we purchased a Louis Vuitton handbag from Tradesy. My husband, who by no means is a purse expert, was the first one to open the box when we received it and he knew instantly it was a fake.

He took the bag to Saks and they confirmed. He returned within a day and Tradesy responded that they had their "authentication" team confirm it was real Louis Vuitton. HA! We are currently trying to get our money back.

Yesterday, we contacted a lawyer about our options, contacted a friend who is a well respected SEO to help us launch an intense internet campaign against this company, and this morning I am contacting the city in which the package was sent from police department(the seller put her name and address on the package, so we lucked out there) to alert them. Usually fake handbags are a huge ring. This fight isn't over yet.

Next time I will just wait a couple extra months and just buy from the real thing. Please don't use the same mistake we did...never buy from Tradesy!!!"

"I MADE OVER $4,239.00 In sales during black friday and i tried to log into my account to confirm purchases and ship out items , as soon as i tried to log in my account i noticed it was suspended , i contacted tradesy for over a week and i received no response , i was a excellent seller and i followed all the guidelines , i dont understand what i did wrong ! i had over $2500 sitting in my tradesy account waiting to be transfered to my checking on top of the $4,239.00 i made ! This site is absolutely rigged and someone needs to do something about it asap , I actually thought about filing a police report considering they do have a tradesy office in santa monica , hopefully someone can investigate them."

When are you filing class action? I have same seller complaints about the company and I’ve been a customer since they opened.

Before they were being completely unethical. I’ve done over 100k in business with them and am outraged at the money holding.

I’ve done some research and by law they cannot hold funds more than 10 days from delivery of an item. It’s actually a California law where they are headquartered.

I too am interested in joining a class action lawsuit against them, its been 34 Days since my item sold and I still dont have a dime! It's also been 10 days since I transferred money and its still not here!

Tradesy has also allowed buyers to scam me on several Occasions where they ruined my merchandise on purpose and tradesy forced the ruined items back on me and went into my bank account without ever telling me or asking me and stole money back that I rightfully earned! I am ready to join any type of class action lawsuit anyone has started!

Tradesy is the most discriminatory site, I never had any issues and they suspended my and cancelled my purchase. I only sold a few items on there with no issues, no returns.

I have been a user since they started as a wedding dress service, over 5 years.

I have contacted the California district attorney and filed a complaint. They have there own inhouse assistant handling Tradesy and complaints against the owner Tracy

I had 5000 and the only gave me 3200.

They did not send me my items back either. Robbers
