Tradesy - Gucci Shoes Review from Jessup, Maryland
Terrible web
- Not great for selling
- Smug unapologetic customer service
Resolved: Bad Customer service
I want to make this short as possible.... I purchased several bags from saks that are on sale Mario Valentino gorgeous bags all Italian leather I looked on there site and found several Mario Valentino bags some just like the ones I purchased.
So I placed my bags on the site. I sold one and the girl freaked out she said it was fake, I was not concerned and told her to send it back to tradesey and they would verify that my bag was authentic I had no worries well I checked to see if my monies had been released and they had refunded her money and basically say my bag was a fake!!! of course I freaked out...... I called and was told they did not sell that brand on there site even though I found a bag just like this one and hit the button sell yours....
It said Valentino Mario Valentino bag..... So I called and they told me they were sending my bag back to me b/c they did not sell that brand even though there are over 100 on the site and several that had sold. Now they tell me there pulling all those bags off the site not because there fake but because they look to close to higher end bags such as Celine, Valentino, etc......These M. Valentino bags cost over $1000.00 Regular priced.
anyway all I want is my money I don't want the bag I want my money and yet I'm told Meghan (the boss) or Kathy (the lead authenticator) does not talk to people they only email... I guess she thinks the the great and powerful oz.... I say we spread the word..... to make sure no one else gets scammed!!!
oh and they have their own closets also pennylane and strawberry fields oh and abby road or something like that so not only do they not make their rules clear they get first dibs on all the good stuff.. I hope soon there is a class action law suite!!

Tradesy - Louis Vuitton Treasure Box Review from Doylestown, Pennsylvania
If you are looking for designer knock offs, this is the site for you. We purchased from TWOPUGSNME and Louis Vuitton verified it was a FAKE.
Tradesy won't credit my husbands credit card because "their team" stated its authentic.
Louis Vuitton will not put in writing that the Treasure Box is fake because of company policy. BUYER BEWARE!!!

They STOLE My MONEY
I purchased an item on Tradesy for $2500. They have a return policy that says you can return an item for any reason, within 4 days. The small print says you get a site credit. I returned the item the same day I received it, and now Tradedy has my $2500. This is ROBBERY!
No other business offers site credits only.
BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM TRADESY! BOYCOTT THIS SCAM.
How they can get away with this I don't know. i'm going to go to the Better Business Bureau.

Preferred solution: Full refund
Credit not given
I made a return due to a problem with a previous order not being authentic. They gave me a store credit which I tried to use and realized on my credit card statement, it was never applied.
I called and talked to costumer service and the supervisor and both said they couldn't do anything about it since the transaction had already been placed. I just asked for them to credit my credit card the money that should have been used in the first place but they said I had to make another transaction to try and use the credit again. This seems like a scam to get you to buy more things. I told them I would be writing reviews and telling my friends of what happened.
They didn't seem to care and had no answers to resolve my case. Buyer Beware!!

Tradesy in violation of several federal, state, and local laws
Notice of Tradesy being in investigated for violation of Federal law
Dear Penny,
Its me again; Andre Setyon. For the record you are still holding thousands of dollars that I earned through sales on Tradesy. Secondly, you are still holding my intellectual property as well as personal property. The items you said were returned because they were alleged fakes. I can with certainty tell you that I can prove that at least one of the items that you purchased was not. "I have an invoice from tiffany's with it listed. It's the 3rd one down and references the original invoice #. It was purchased through tiffany.com."
There's more. We have proof that you Penny have some sold counterfeit products. YOU are in serious violation of the law. Many laws in fact. See the agency. below that our legal representation will file with. I say our because we will be opening a class action lawsuit shortly.
Lastly, under my First Amendment rights, we will be spending thousands of dollars on ads exposing you and directing people to ethical sites. There are many.
If you'd like to discuss as fair and reasonable settlement that would avoid costly litigation, kindly let me know. Otherwise, we have no other recourse.
Cordially,
Andre Setyon

Here's just a small sampling of some complaints against you:
"I am sorry I did not check reviews before we purchased a Louis Vuitton handbag from Tradesy. My husband, who by no means is a purse expert, was the first one to open the box when we received it and he knew instantly it was a fake.
He took the bag to Saks and they confirmed. He returned within a day and Tradesy responded that they had their "authentication" team confirm it was real Louis Vuitton. HA! We are currently trying to get our money back.
Yesterday, we contacted a lawyer about our options, contacted a friend who is a well respected SEO to help us launch an intense internet campaign against this company, and this morning I am contacting the city in which the package was sent from police department(the seller put her name and address on the package, so we lucked out there) to alert them. Usually fake handbags are a huge ring. This fight isn't over yet.
Next time I will just wait a couple extra months and just buy from the real thing. Please don't use the same mistake we did...never buy from Tradesy!!!"
"I MADE OVER $4,239.00 In sales during black friday and i tried to log into my account to confirm purchases and ship out items , as soon as i tried to log in my account i noticed it was suspended , i contacted tradesy for over a week and i received no response , i was a excellent seller and i followed all the guidelines , i dont understand what i did wrong ! i had over $2500 sitting in my tradesy account waiting to be transfered to my checking on top of the $4,239.00 i made ! This site is absolutely rigged and someone needs to do something about it asap , I actually thought about filing a police report considering they do have a tradesy office in santa monica , hopefully someone can investigate them."

I'm interested, and I care. I truly do.
I hate reading all these discouraging, frustrated messages about theft, fakes, etc. It will get better. Just win the Powerball, then fly to Vegas and shop a retail designer boutique for thousands!
hahaha kidding, but maybe not what you're trying to hear. Take care.
