I recently started selling on Tradesy and have had a few good experiences, but I was super disappointed by a recent one. I sold an old Tiffany necklace at a steep discount that I accurately described as needing to be polished.

After the sale was completed, the item was returned to me because the chain was believed not to be authentic. It is 100% authentic but just in need of polishing as clearly posted in my listing.

When asked how they made the determination they did, Tradesy was very vague and said the chain didn't have a certain engraving. It was purchased 13 years ago when this was not the case, and Tradesy didn't even bother to contact the store or do any further research before wasting all of the time I spent posting and selling the item as well as the money I spent on shipping.
