I listed my Louis Vuitton Neverfull and it sold to a girl who saw it on POSHMARK and asked me to list on tradesy for the lesser fees and authenticity guaranteed policy. Upon sale Tradesy asked me for a few things to Verify me as a seller.

Photos of the bag, date code and a paper next to the bag with "Tradesy" written on it. NO big deal. Then they wanted a copy of my drivers license and 2 links to two of my social media sites. Um, no thank you.

Why on earth would you need those?! You obviously have to have a way for the money to go from them to me, shouldn't that be enough?

It just seems like a wonderful way to allow identity theft to occur. Needless to say, I still have my bag and avoid Tradesy like the plague.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Location: Hilo, Hawaii

Same with me. They hold funds 4 days after its delivered so the customer can open a case if they are unhappy with the sale. They should establish your identification during the account setup, not when their customers have paid for their item and anxious for it to ship.

I've sold several items on Tradesy and they've NEVER asked me for any of this and I get paid securely. This post sounds fishy. :(
