I have never sold on any online marketplace where I was treated as poorly as on Tradesy!!!

Without Sellers, there would be NO Tradesy! But I don't think they realize that.... A seller is treated like a guilty party whenever a Return is made. A buyer on the other hand, can say anything they want... and the return process depends upon the "mood" of the Return's Dept Staff member the day they "evaluate" the returned item.

And, to top it off, Tradesy holds the seller's money for several days, sometimes several weeks throughout the Buy/Return Process! This should be illegal! Credit Card Companies require funds to be released once something ships -- NOT WITHHELD!

LOOK AT THE PHOTOS BUYERS! IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE, BUY IT. IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU SEE, DON'T BUY IT & DON'T BLAME THE SELLER!

When a return is made it's because the buyer does NOT like the item! IT'S NOT THE SELLER'S FAULT! But the seller gets taken advantage of! They not only lose the sale, they lose a month's time for their item not being sold, plus they lose money on the deal in more ways than one!

Tradesy's advertising campaigns are nothing but LIES! Don't trust Tradesy. Sellers Beware!

HEY BLOGGERS & MEDIA.... WRITE ABOUT THIS TOPIC! STOP PRAISING TRADESY WHEN THEY TREAT THEIR SELLERS HORRIBLY.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $5000.

Preferred solution: Tell Tradesy to start treating their sellers properly; with respect and fairness! .

I liked: Ease of selling.

I didn't like: Inhuman treatment, Poor operations, Lack of consideration.

I agree with everything you said. I am also a seller on Tradesy and have done quite well, so I will continue to sell here.....

BUT their customer service reps and their "authenticators" are a joke !

Buyers please look and read the listing carefully and contact the seller if you have any questions. I think there are a number of buyers who receive an item and decide to return it after Tradesy's time limit, so they either damage the item or claim it is a fake.

That way they can return it and get their money, as opposed to a site credit. Also check the sellers history and see how many sales they have had, compared to the number of returns.
